Edward Dabdoub

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Eddie is the law firm’s managing partner. He is one of five lawyers in his immediate family. Eddie focuses his practice on helping individuals get the disability benefits they are entitled to from disability insurance companies.

He represents clients all over the country with all stages of their disability insurance claims. He has extensive knowledge of the 1974 Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and has years of experience litigating disability cases in both state court and federal court against every major disability insurance company. These companies include Life Insurance Company of North America (LINA) or CIGNA, UNUM, Mass Mutual, Principal Financial, Hartford, Aetna, Prudential, Met Life, and Liberty Life.

Eddie has been asked to be a guest speaker at local and national law conferences due to his knowledge of ERISA and disability insurance benefits for legal organizations including the Florida Association for Justice as well as the American Association for Justice. He has authored articles regarding disability insurance and frequently advises other legal professionals on matters related to ERISA and disability insurance.

Eddie graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. While there, he received the prestigious Sue Cobb Scholarship. Prior to law school, he graduated from Florida International University at the top of his class with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Miami.
